Nabokov House, St PetersburgAlan Jude Moore was born in Dublin. He is the author of three collections of poetry: Black State Cars (Salmon Publishing, 2004), Lost Republics (Salmon Poetry, 2008) and Strasbourg (Salmon Poetry, 2010). Widely published in Ireland and abroad, he has read at venues around the world including recent events at Electric Picnic, the Dublin Book Festival (Ireland), The Troubadour Club (London), Riflessidiversi (Umbria, Italy), The Nabokov Museum (St. Petersburg), The Henry Miller Memorial Library (California) and the Istanbul International Poetry Festival (Turkey).

His fiction has been short-listed for the Hennessy Literary Award for New Irish Writing and translations of his work have been published in Italian, Russian and Turkish.

His new collection, Zinger, is due out later in 2013.
