California Readings in September

Alan Jude Moore will be giving a series of readings in California this September. Dates and places are:

Friday 11th September 2009 - EasySpeak presents a poetry reading featuring John Harris and Alan Jude Moore | Stories Books, 1716 Sunset Blvd., LA, time 8pm (Tel: 213/413-3733, www.storiesla.com).

Tuesday 15th September 2009 - Loyola Marymount University, (Department of English), 1 LMU Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90045 @ 4.30pm. 

Friday 18th September 2009 - Felix Kulpa Gallery, 107 Elm Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060 @ 8pm.

Saturday 19th September 2009 - Henry Miller Memorial Library, Highway One, Big Sur, California. Featured reading at the launch of Ping Pong #3, the literary annual of the Henry Miller Memorial Library. This event starts 3pm with readings taking place at 6pm.

New poems in UK magazine Iota

There's three new poems, from a new collection due to be published in 2010, in the latest issue of Iota, the recently relaunched literary magazine from the UK. More new poems are due to be published in 2009 in Ping Pong (USA), Mimesis (UK) and others.

Available Space Exhibition, Dublin - Opening March 12th

A group of young artists, The Dodo Collective, are putting together a multi-media exhibition centred around their interpretations of my poem Pipeline. It's being staged in an unused commercial unit on Smithfield Plaza, Dublin 7 (just off the Luas red line). All the details are at this link to the Jabberwocky Series site. The opening is on Thursday the 12th March and it runs until the 17th. No exact address yet but it shouldn't be too hard to find on a square that never really seems as busy as...
